Brittany Greenwood

Owner

Brittany began her Early Education career in 2001. She has her degree in Child Development and is currently pursuing a degree in Family and Human Services. Brittany is certified in Montessori, CPR, First Aid and holds her National Administrator Credentials. Brittany has taught Kindergarten and Preschool for a non-profit school, where she focused on teaching at-risk students.

Brittany finds joy in teaching and caring for children. She loves to see children master skills and learn new things. She strives to keep Little Orchard an academic preschool by overseeing and adding to curriculum. Brittany enjoys supporting teachers’ efforts in helping to produce a preschool environment where all feels comfortable, welcomed, and needed.

Brittany is married to her best friend Eddie and they have two children that they adore. Eddie has joined Brittany at Little Orchard full time and together to work to serve the staff, families, and children at Little Orchard Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys cake decorating, camping, weightlifting, and trying new things.

Megan Morelos

Executive Director

Megan brings a wealth of experience. She has served in various capacities within the childcare realm, from her years with the Salt Lake school district, where she made a direct impact in the classroom, to her more recent role as a preschool Director, where she guided and shaped the educational journey of young learners for five years.

Married to her high school sweetheart for 29 years, Megan‘s committed to her family as a mother of three adult children and a Nana to six grandchildren. She cherishes spending time with her loved ones and creating memories.

Outside of work, leads her to the great outdoors. Whether she’s camping or hiking in the beautiful Utah mountains, she finds inspiration and peace in nature. Additionally, her love for baking, allows her to express creativity and bring joy to those around her.

Megan‘s dedication to children is evident in her numerous certifications, including NECPA, SBS/AHT, CDA, and adult and pediatrics first aid/CPR. She continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and stay updated on the latest practices in early childhood education, completing numerous courses through accredited IACET providers.

Haley Bemis

Manager

My name is Haley Bemis I am the director here at Little Orchard Learning Center. I have been in the childcare industry for over 16 years. I have my Child development credential (CDA) My National administrator Credential (NAC) and am almost done with my associate degree in Family and Human studies. With my experience in early childhood and my passion for creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children, I am confident I will make a significant impact in your child's life. I will be working side by side with Shane and Allie to help run the facility and work collaboratively with our staff and parents. I believe in an open-door policy and welcome conversations regarding your child(ren) to ensure a positive experience while at Little Orchards.

I have lived in Utah my whole life and grew up in Bountiful. I have been married to my best friend Chris for 17 years and have two children a boy named Declan who is 7 who loves cars and math, and a daughter named Harley who is 13 and is into everything Taylor Swift. We love going on vacations as a family and just bought our first house a year ago.

So far we are very impressed with this preschool. It is much more organized and the curriculum is well-thought out compared to another Montessori preschool we had tried last year. I like that it is a Montessori hybrid and that my daughter gets some personalized attention with learning phonics here. So grateful we found this place!

Little Orchard is great! I love how excited my little one is after each class (even if he wasn’t initially excited to go to class 🥴). He has loved learning his letters and practicing at home and I think the Montessori room is his favorite. 😄 I love the individualized attention they give each child, especially on days when going to school is a bit of a struggle. ❤️Update: My little one has become an amazing reader this year at Little Orchard! We have liked them so much we have got our next child registered for this coming Fall!

We love this school! It’s a warm and welcoming place. The director, Ms. Michelle, is kind and truly cares about every child. The teachers are patient and supportive. We are coming up on the end of our second year at Little Orchard and I simply have nothing but great things to say about it!! The curriculum is the perfect stepping stone from toddlerhood to kindergarten, the teachers and kind and honest, and the facility itself is so cute and super clean. Their app is user friendly, they send photos during the day, and we just feel so lucky that our experience has been so good. We also utilized their Summer camps last Summer and they were SO fun.
